The Pressing Process
A vinyl pressing is created by a press which uses the negative impressions of a master disc. Using heat to mould the vinyl, the negative impression is stamped onto the heated vinyl to transfer the grooves which will create music when placed on a record player.

While vinyl records were left behind in the 80s when compact discs were launched, in recent years, vinyl records have started to claw back some of their popularity. With the popular culture of extreme nostalgia being so prevalent, many people choose to listen to music with vinyl records. This may be partially due to the rich sound that can be achieved through vinyl, as compact discs just can’t replicate the experience that so many people love.
Whatever the reason for their rediscovered popularity, vinyl records are one of the most popular methods of listening to music. This means, that no matter your reason for distributing music, vinyl records are an excellent choice.
